Whole Group:
- Discuss how to make appropriate comments on discussion boards; what makes a strong comment? Students will look at what things are appropriate on any social network and what is not. Students will also talk about what topics should and should not be discussed on academic sites such as Edmodo.

Differentiation
Choice Boards and Portfolios are used often in order to provide students with opportunities to show their reading abilities through various ways and in work that showcases their strengths Students will be placed in flexible groups in order to receive small group instruction. Groups will be created from ability and behavior, and changed as needed. Within each group teachers will scaffold, remediate, implement peer tutoring, and adjust instruction as needed
