January 7, 2011

Are you the change you want to see in the world?

Follow the directions below in order to complete the tasks for today's class

  1. Begin by reading all instructions in this block.
  2. Carefully look over the two graphic organizers you are to collect data on today. Remember, we are taking notes and summarizing what you find, NOT copying word for word.
  3. Each site you visit (or place you gather information from), be sure to write down the source so you can cite it later if needed.
  4. Today you are simply looking for main ideas and details. What organizations have been created to support your cause and what do they do? What solutions have been tried and what were the outcomes? What places need the most help and why?
  5. When taking notes put stars by the main ideas and dashes by the supporting details.
  6. Now you may go to the link of your class and use the websites there to find more information.
