  • Begin working on the Section 1 packet (found here) on a sheet of notebook paper. Section 1 reviews chapters 1-4, therefore you may not be able to answer all questions yet. (keep in portfolio)
  • Create a Portfolio Cover focusing on Black History Month

Differentiation

Choice Boards and Portfolios are used often in order to provide students with opportunities to show their reading abilities through various ways and in work that showcases their strengths Students will be placed in flexible groups in order to receive small group instruction. Groups will be created from ability and behavior, and changed as needed. Within each group teachers will scaffold, remediate, implement peer tutoring, and adjust instruction as needed
