Inventions

Page history last edited by Jason Smith 10 years, 2 months ago

We are going to begin researching different inventions you use. Choose an invention you use in everyday life. Some examples are listed below.

  • Television
  • Xbox
  • Playstation
  • Nintendo
  • Microwave
  • Toaster
  • iPad
  • Cell Phone
  • Laptop
  • Pencil
  • Potato Chips

Then go to Kids GALILEO (DO NOT USE GOOGLE) and search for your invention. Be sure to take notes on the invention to answer the following questions:

  1. When was it invented?
  2. Who invented it?
  3. Why was it invented?
  4. Where was it made?
  5. What is it used for?
  6. What did it replace?
  7. How does it work?

Once you have the answers to these questions, you will choose to make a Haiku Deck (power point) or Animoto (a video) teaching someone about your invention (using the answers above).
